Our San Diego client is recognized as one of the leading developers of software for digital photography and has received consistent critical acclaim for its innovations in the field of digital photography and won numerous awards for its entire range of software products.
Job Duties:
* Maintain current website. Design and develop new web back-end functionality as necessary to optimize customer experience, analyze behavior and promote customer loyalty
* Ensure robust web analytics are in place for the web site and customer communications; provide analysis and recommendations
* Recommend and optimize company web sites for maximum search engine ranking performance
* Maintain existing e-commerce system. Integrate existing or new e-commerce system as required with future Business Information (Accounting) System deployment
* Create requirements, architect, develop and manage development of new web site, with robust e-commerce, analytics, customer-centric systems, etc
Required Skills:
* 3 or more years experience as a web developer in a fast-paced environment
* Expert proficiency in hand-coding HTML/DHTML, CSS/XML, JavaScript and integrating Flash Content and other current web technologies to create clean, maintainable, and technically solid web sites
* Advanced skills with LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP)
* Experience integrating e-commerce and other systems, including but not limited to integrating with 3rd party APIs
* Experience developing or integrating web content management systems (CMS) and content versioning systems (CVS)
